Terms and Conditions. You are advised to read them very carefully before making a purchase or ticking any of the boxes, situated during the checkout procedure. Do this before proceeding through our checkout and placing an order.It is in your interest to print and retain a copy of this page.
Your shopping experience with Hemlock & Rose
, should be a pleasant and easy one. We have high standard of customer care and strive to make it easy and stress free.
Once an item items are placed in the cart, the number can be edited and removed if you so wish as you are under no pledge. Once happy with your choice then proceed through the checkout and using our secure checkout to complete the payment. All orders are normally dispatched within the next working or on the same working day. This is Monday to Friday and excludes all UK bank holidays. During the Christmas and New Year period we have a separate time scale for dispatch and for this see our notice in our latest news section.

We retain a paper copy of your order to ensure that we have the information for tax purposes only.
No information gathered from purchases is used for any marketing purposes. That including "cold calling" or sending any marketing spam emails or letters.
Data can be requested by the police and occasionally released to the postal service in the case of lost post applications. Third party data will also be used in all cases of dispute with debit or credit cards payments, and with any PayPal payments if ever taken.
Orders not processes with a payment.
We send a reminder email after one hour, one day and two days. If you do not respond. We will delete this order and all details within 7 days.
We have a separate record for receiving our newsletter only. This you will have knowingly signed up for using your name and email address. This can be found on the side bar on our website. On every newsletter - there is the option to stop any further newsletters being sent to you if you so wish. No information has been retained prior to May 2018.
In order to protect all information collected. We have a series of security measures in place. Including locked documentation, electronic infrastructure and staff training. We have taken these measures to ensure your privacy is protected.
A cookie is a piece of code that is placed on your computers hard drive, when permission is granted.
You can make the choice to accept or to decline any cookies. But you will need to change your settings within your web browser. Most have an automatic acceptance but this can be changed by you only. Please be aware that declining a cookie can interfere with the website and you may not be able to access it in full.
We reserve the right to refuse any order. The order will be only agreed and the contract full filled when dispatched. This website will send an email to confirm the order and another one on dispatch. Occasionally we will cancel an order but always send an email to inform you and the reason why. If an incorrect email or address is given then the order becomes invalid.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations are adhered to. If you change your mind you may cancel within 7 working days of receipt by writing to us. Your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund including any normal delivery charges on UK/EU orders only. However if the item(s) have been dispatched. We will require they are returned before refunding. The return delivery cost is to be paid by you. If you choose to return an item, we are not responsible for loss or damage in the post. For this reason we recommend you use a recorded delivery service.
You have 14 working days if you are not happy or change your mind to return the items for a refund. Then after the 14 working days from receipt or if the package is returned to us because of non collection. This is then an act of goodwill on our part, if we choose to refund, but there is no legal right to a refund.
We have the right to reduce the cost repaid - if an item is not returned in the condition that it has been sent to you or has been used. We will also only refund the normal postage rate, not express or overseas delivery.
If an item was damaged on receipt we will refund all delivery costs.
If an item fails to arrive, it will be only be deemed stolen whilst in transit after 28 days, if it does not return to us before hand. If this very unlikely event occurs, we have a 28 days refund policy and only following your signature to the legal document that you are stating that it has not arrived.
Secure Online Payments.
We do not retain or have access to any debit/credit card information. Here at Hemlock & Rose all payments are taken by third parties on their secure servers. We do check all details to ensure the billing address matches and any other security checks are correct.
- PayPal Express address details are your responsibility and we are not accountable for your address in your PayPal address account. It is your responsibility for you to keep this up to date.
Any reversal or payments not honored will be subjected to a 50% surcharge from the date of dispatch. Payable every 7 days of the reversal or bank refusal. If the debt is taken to court then all charges will be the responsibility of the buyer or the person receiving the goods.
Payment is the full price excluding any postage charges. The buyer is responsible for any duty/custom charges or other country tax charges.
As the majority of our items are brought by us with no information from the manufacturer. We estimate the date of production, materials and other information. We do this at Hemlock & Rose to the best of our ability. If this is proven not to be correct, we will refund within the 14 days time period to examine the piece. No extra compensation will be given. We do not knowingly sell fake items or copies as the real item. However some fakes may have us fooled. Again the refund is available, when the item is returned and we can confirm that it is the item that we have sold.

All our photographs are archived for any future use and they remain the copyright of Hemlock & Rose indefinitely.
Under no circumstances should any of the photographs on the Hemlock & Rose website be used for monetary gain. If so used without our specified consent and without a pre payment for use. We then have the right to bill the company (or person/s) who has used the photograph/s for monetary gain without consent. This is currently £700 per photograph per one use.
